Ryker, according to his foster mom:
(who unfortunately can't keep him any longer because of health issues in the family)
He is the dearest, sweetest, 15 month old boy and just wants to be with you all the time. He is happiest cruising around the yard while you work in the garden, and loves nothing better than to curl up at my feet while I buy things I don't need on eBay. He is just learning how to play with other dogs, and also just learning that toys are fun, too! He has a "Chuck-It" ball that he dotes on, and if you won't throw it for him, he will toss it in the air and leap to catch it. He has been fine here with his foster siblings, all eight of them. Some male, some female. When the dogs all play here, he is definitely the low man on the totem pole, and is still learning how best to fit in. But he loves the company and the endless games of "hot-laps" around the yard. As you can see, he's absolutely fine with smaller dogs. He doesn't dig. He doesn't chew. He doesn't jump or leap tall buildings. He doesn't bark, ever. Okay, maybe he will tune up with the coyotes at night, but he is a very, very quiet dog. He's been fine when introduced to horses and cattle, and the barn cats. He doesn't seem to have a prey drive. Like any self-respecting German Shepherd, he's a total car-ride NUT. He loves the car, and settles right in the back, happy as a clam and will quietly accompany you to your destination of choice.
